Florida sweeps LSU & Georgia in Basketball (reg. season)!

Nice rally after falling behind by what, 14? Good move to go to the press and get LSU rattled.
16-15. It'd sure be nice to pick up a win in the SECT.

 

However,

Vanderbilt & kentucky are the Florida gators' nemesis in both football & basketball!

From Coach Golden (paraphrasing) with the SECN announcers after the game:

Really proud of the guys. Showed resiliency. These guys put it on themselves to rally up. Wanted to prove they could win without CC and now has some momentum going into the tournament.

He (coach) jumped the guys at halftime. Not good energy first half. Called them out and they responded.

The SEC is an incredibly difficult league. You have to stay mentally tough or 1 loss turns into 2, 3, etc.

Proud of the way guys competed.

Asked if he was tempered at halftime and he said, "No, I wasn't very careful." Effort was much better second half.

 

That was an awesome recovery and shot.

 

Great 2nd half, a bit shaky in the first.

 

I'm glad Coach Golden jumped the team at halftime and they responded.

I'm also glad that he turned the pressure up and the results were what we saw earlier in the season. Defense resulted in offense.

 

Playing for seeding in the NCAAT.

Love beating LSU and love closing out with the dub. Great job boys.

 

All I can say is thank goodness for UGa and LSU. They make us look decent.

 

Can we play any teams outside the top twenty and show we can get wins. See everybody Wednesday and Thursday at the SEc tournament. If we happen to beat Miss St. well I guess I might need another ticket!

 

Now we move on to win the sec tourney to get our automatic bid to the big dance. Hey, i am allowed to dream.
