Moving tonight’s game vs rajun Cajuns to 11:30 am ET Sunday.

 

So we can still get that much needed RPI.

 

What about Rutgers? We were scheduled to play them Sunday at Noon.

 

no tarps? stadiums are almost accross from each other, softball field much smaller, why cancelled?

 

I think Rutgers are still on the menu but pushed back Sunday, I’m not sure, schedule adjustments trying to get every game in. You know however Walton wants cajun rpi, Rutgers not so much.

 

Good question, parking? Traffic? Male sports priority over women sports? If the boys playing I don’t see why the ladies can’t.

Tend to agree, but Rutgers is a Big 10 team that's 17-5. They're no pushover. I hope they play them Sunday as well.

 

More softball the better.

 

For some bizarre reason, I came across the NCAA rule last week when looking for something else. Until "Play Ball," the home team's coach determines whether the field is playable and the game will start. After that, its the umpire's call. Apparently, Sully and CTW had different opinions.

I will say that I thought the area between the pitcher's mound and home plate at KSP was overwatered before the start of the first game. Throughout the game it was mud like and much darker than the rest of the infield. A couple of bunts basically dug in and stopped, where they would have rolled under normal conditions. Echols got burned by one.

It had to be something, because weather radar clearly showed that nothing else was headed our way.

 

Maybe taking into consideration that a whole tournament is to be played in the softball field this weekend and wanting to keep it in as good of shape as possible? Idk really.

 

That's just wingtee, he dosen't care about SB and just shows up to take jabs.
