We win this game if he doesn’t get hurt I’m convinced, we still can but defense going to have to do some big time things.

I think because he wasn’t able to walk off under his own power or even be helped off the field and needed the cart. It probably was some type of a hamstring rupture, but hard to know… He definitely grabbed his hamstring, not the back of his knee, which is a good sign I would think.

 

Man makes me think that Mertz’s injury was such a fluke. It was a noncontact injury where he tore his ACL. If we still had him, we’d be in a lot better shape.

 

Vandy is bowl eligible before we are. Oh, the humanity!!

 

I tore mine when I was about his age, it was a pretty painful injury. I seem to recall it was the better part of two months before I could get back in the dojo.

 

The defense will have to play out of their minds

Id assume we won't know that 10 minutes after it happens.

Not a knee. I tore my hamstring. I had an avulsion (where the bone separates) but the more common one is a tear at the myotendinous junction. They both require surgery. Maybe we get lucky and it’s just a strain and he can return later in the season.
