I am proud of our ladies-today wasn't their day-but they won back to back series that many had already counted us out

Oh well. Not many people gave us a chance to win this series and some thought we might get swept. Good series overall. Now need to focus on winning the doubleheader against USG on Wednesday and then trying to win the series in Knoxville. Gooo Gators!

 

Well, overall really good series. Falby getting called back in the first effected the whole team I think. If that’s the case gotta be more mentally tough. Meltdown in the 6th was bad. Still proud about what they did against a good team that no one gave them a chance against.

 

Very proud of our ladies-I wished they could have swept the dawgs-however-they did a great job winning 2 out of 3 this weekend

 

Now-over to focus on baseball which they are trying to win the series

We were gifted a couple of runs yesterday as well. (like we didn't earn them?)
This series could easily have been won by GA. (Our ladies would probably disagree with you)
IMO-by saying uga could have easily won the series and about the gifted runs-diminishes our teams' accomplishments-
One could say that about other series and wins-the baseball team could have easily won Friday night...gymnastic team could have easily pulled out the meet yesterday instead of okie...and so on

 

That's not exactly what I hoped she'd learn from Barnhill.

 

I did not see this mentioned on the thread, so I apologize if it was.
Skylar had a hard-hit ball to her and could not get in front, so she muffed it. The scorer gave her an error. Coach Walton came out of the dugout and motioned to the scorer that it was a hit and not an error, and they changed it after the game. I believe it was definitely a hit. Good on, Coach.
Her Dad said after the game that she should have moved her feet and got in front of it. LOL

 

Good info -- I saw CTW come out and shoot daggers toward the press box, but didn't know they changed it after the game.

Skylar shot the ump some daggers this series, especially one stare down as she was trotting back from an out at 1B yesterday. Made the crowd chuckle. It was so intense it might have scared the ump.

 

She is a fierce competitor. I wouldn’t want her mad at me. Lol
