I agree. Florida's bench was thin today and it hurt them late in the second half.

Clayton has his moments. We need ZP to step up and lead the team. He probably needs to be more vocal and trust his outside shot more. Just what I’m seeing.

 

All I can say is, Mike White is Mike White. Close but no cigar.

Golden is a work in progress. This team is going to struggle to win enough games to get into the tourney. Methinks we need more depth. Mr Consonants did not get in and we don't have any confidence in Kugel or Aberdeen for long stretches. Haugh is a freshman. Rishwain is the missing man and won't get much time to play.

This is going to be a VERY bumpy ride coming down the stretch. Will a Quad 1 opponent brain fart a game to us?

 

If they are #21, we are #8 and a 2 seed in the tournament.

I could focus on this being a game that should not have been close, but right now I'm focused on 9 in a row versus the mutts and this being a good lesson on the road to March.

 

Clayton will play out of his mind scoring. Then make four crazy horrible passes in a row.

We struggle with getting the ball in against the press.

With all that said, winning is all that matters.

A win is a win but that's back to back games were things got dicey late in the 2nd half. Let's not do that again, please.

 

He is a composure and professionalism cut above the rest of the team. He absolutely needs to step up and take control. He makes great decisions, can convert his shots and make his FTs.

Meanwhile Condon has been sensational at the FT line in crunch time. The kid is just a baller (no matter the shape of the ball or game)

 

Think about this. We had to shoot a high number in order to win against our real competition at home. Not a good trend for the away games and the upper-echelon teams at home.
