I like Mertz a lot. He’s definitely better than how he played last week. Not sure what happened, but man with someone like DJ behind you that was not the time to have your worst game as a Gator… against Miami at The Swamp.

unfortunately, I have to agree with that sentiment. I think we found a real playmaker at quarterback, but it scares me with our offensive line. One with a missed block and it could be a bad injury. I don’t know how they coach up our line quickly, but I hope they’re at least working on it.

I think a lot of last week the lack of an OL/run game/protection of any kind. Can just wreck a QB.
