Lexie gets a chance to step up against a really good team. FSU must be really confident. They have 7 pitchers on their roster and their starting pitcher, Mack Leonard, is a 2-way player who has only thrown 18 innings this year. FSU primarily uses 4 pitchers and she is not one of them. She is a Grad Senior transfer from Illinois State in her 2nd year at FSU. She led the Noles in batting average in 2022.

 

FSU must be saving their best pitchers for this weekend against Louisville. They only have to win one of three to clinch ACC. Guess they don't want to take any chances.

 

We need the win more than they do, that's for sure.
