    Central Michigan got a 2-out double to take a 1-0 lead going to the bottom of the 3rd. Radio announcers have said UF is, in fact, playing with just Kistler and Falby in the outfield, Echols at 3rd, listed right fielder Pollard playing near the normal SS position, with Wallace behind the 2nd base bag and Walsh and Goelz in their normal positions.

    Falby led off the bottom of the 3rd with a single, stole 2nd and then Wallace hit a home run, followed by an Echols single. 2-1 Gators.
