Tyrese Samuel has 7 double-doubles halfway through the season. Finishing with 14 would put him sixth all-time for single season double-doubles by a Gator. 16 would tie him for second with Horford and Schintzius. (that stat was only kept since 1971, so Neal Walk isn't on the list, but he averaged a double-double in both 68 and 69)
Just back from the game. Observations: The Gators played hard, end to end and coast to coast. Condo really gets after it. Kugel, big night for the soph. We're a tough out when he's on and fired up. Tyrese, nice bounce back from a couple of tough games. Micah, so steady as a rebounder and a shot-blocker/shot-alterer. People don't give him enough credit for the shots he alters. The glass was one-sided tonight, and seemed even more one-sided than the final rebounding numbers indicated. Loved the effort there. Tyrese, Micah, and Condo dominated. Pullin, Clayton, and Richard all had solid games. If we play like this against the Vols, we have a good chance of pulling the upset.
