Why did Pullin wait so long to initiate? No chance for a shot or rebound.

 

That last play shoulda been a kick out to Clayton with the hot hand for a trey........

 

So, do we see a zone or 1-3-1 defense in the second half since we have a lead?

 

No one has 2 better freshman bigs than FL. 2 years from now watch out if Condin still hete.
Could be Horford and Noah rerun. Not saying they are as good but will be a heck of a twosome

 

He's one of the best in the business........

 

Need a strong start to the second half!

 

It's fun to watch when it's not being stopped every 30 seconds. Swallow the whistle both ways and the 2nd half will be fun.

 

According to Chris Harry on Shane show today they don't play very good zone and if they did it was slow down there offense.

FTs accounting for 5 of our 9 point lead. Shocking.

 

Except for the bigs fouling, an excellent first half. Our guys moved the ball much better the last 8 minutes of the half and raised their FG shooting to 48%. 9-11 shooting free throws (mainly Clayton 8-8), Bama 4-8 on FT's, UF 7 assists to 6 turnovers, Bama only 3 assists to 8 turnovers. Rebounds even at 20, Bama with 10 fouls, UF 9. All 4 of our bigs have 2 fouls, plus Kugel with 2. None on anybody else. Let's see if we can finish. How many games have we lost where we had a lead with 8 minutes left? Our guys are tough and play well togather. Just gotta be smart and mentally tough and grind out this win.

 

I was assuming that is why they didn't do it last game. Oats probably doesn't coach it.

 

I love listening to Dykes - always have. I think he's fair and knows what he's talking about.

 

They should be releasing the ball with about 3-4 seconds left, so we have time for a rebound and put-back.

 

Hopefully they can come out with the mindset that the game is tied 0-0 and it is a one-half game and go out and get another 9 point differential for the good guys this half.
