Nothing to be ashamed of here by the Gators. I’m happy we made it to the SEC Championship game in only Coach Golden’s 2nd season. Also, happy to have beaten UGA/Alabama/Texas A&M along the way in the previous 3 days.

Get some rest, regroup and have fun in the NCAA tournament.
    Go Gators!!

Yep. They have alternate brackets locked and loaded. This game probably is the difference between a 5 and 6.

It is. In a tournament, you need depth and options. Major hit to our frontcourt depth.

It obviously hurts but I disagree that it changes a ton. Just not a threat offensively, but losing his rebounding on both sides hurts as does a block or so a game. This team will still only go as far as its guards go.

We can't have nice things. Seems most years we lose an impactful player.

I'm not understanding what the gameplan was for this game.

1-13. That's the key to the game. Micah second. Legs: maybe 3rd. IMO.

Auburn was the better team today. I just don't think we could get past the Micah injury.

It’s easy to steal the ball from Walt if you are allowed to tackle him with two players at the same time.
    Unbelievable

Poor 2nd half defense and terrible shot selection. A good run, time to rest and win out! Go Gators!

Does nc state average one of the highest possessions per game (meaning we play fast) like Uf does? Does NC state play nothing but man to man defense like UF does? (Zone allows you to rest). Was no state down 15+ in multiple games, forcing them to okay even faster to catch up and burn more energy? Did Nc state lose a player to a gruesome injury in their final and have to overcome emotions? Every single game and team and runs are not apples to apples.

Of course there are teams that play 4 and 5 straight games and win. Happens most years. Doesn’t mean they were not tired.

So, you wait until after the great run they made to come back and quote this? Weak.

Yep. And one of TG's mentors is a scum bag.
Pitino and Billy were tight too and Pitino is a scum bag.

    It happens.

Make half of them, no, 30%, and the game is within reach

It might make a bit of sense with a singular superstar player, but still sort of bs to throw out a teams season.

    Micah is important for sure
    - but it doest’t redefine the current team (like for example, when Castleton went down). So seems pretty crazy to consider it in seeding.

What are you talking about? We are tough in the paint, we just met a tougher, more experienced opponent.

Time to pull the starters, give them a sendoff and let them start their recovery before Thurs/Friday.
