Only 2 which is not bad. Maybe I'm being a bit harsh on him but his style of play makes me nervous

I got interested in Gator BB right as they built the O-Dome. Always been a Gator football fan. Close on to 60 years that I can remember for football.

I'd give him a couple of possessions at the point and see how he handles it.

Good game to build on. If we played a little smarter today we'd have won by 15 or more.

A W is always better than a L. That is good. Also, any away W is a really good thing. Our guards are our weakest link. Kennedy must be doing things I can't see that is getting him in trouble. Appleby is just plain a schizzo player. I guess bipolar is a better description. McKissic seems to be the least impressive guard who needs to have the most minutes. Flemming needs to have just as many. I am assuming that Reeves is playing the 3.

I am impressed with the production out of JJ. That should bode well going forward. I am VERY disappointed we did not see a big lineup, for no other reason than because we need to get it up and running and because...we don't have good guards to play small. We just don't.

And last but definitely NOT least, why isn't Jones sitting next to Lane? His minutes are pretty damning to Mike's acumen as a quality HC.

Has Kowacie Reeves ever been asked, when he is shooting free throws has his dreads ever blocked his own shot?
    Asking for a friend....

My first wife's brother was the one who got me hooked on the BB team. We were all out at my then mother-in-laws and he asked me if I wanted to go see the new dome and watch them play. I did and was immediately hooked. Unfortunately he passed away several years ago and I'm not sure he got to see their NCs under Billy.

I always was a football fan as well (since I was old enough to understand football)-my mom and I were 2 females in a family with 4 males-so we learned to love sports-my dad and brothers all taught me the ends and outs of football..at one point I only cared about Gator football-but my brother told me I had to "suffer" year round with the Gators-so basketball was "introduced" to me- :) I ended up working with a former Gator basketball player that became our basketball coach at the high school I worked at-he was a starter (guard)..he laughed when I told how frustrated I would get after a loss...he is good guy-won a state championship with our HS.
Then baseball -my brother then got me into that as well-now I follow all Gator sports...

21 offensive rebounds to our 8 for UCSe and 15 (+6) turnovers for UF and means USCe shot 26 more shots than us. That is why we lose against teams that are better than USCe.

Great story. It's kind of funny the ways we become fans of certain teams. I grew up a Gator fan as my dad and his older brother were fans so that was all I knew as I grew up. That and a lot of new cuss words.:D

My dad was born and raised in Alabama, my mom in Florida-meet thru mutual friends-all my brothers were born in Alabama as are my cousins (they went to bama)..I was born down here-so when my parents moved down here-my dad wanted to follow a Florida team-the u and fsu did not have football teams-so my dad started supporting UF-he had season tickets since 77 or 78...I got mine in 85...funny-I remember when UF beat bama when Namath (on my BD lol) was QB-my grandfather (my Dad's father) was POed..lol (cause he still pulled for bama even tho my grandparents moved down here when my dad moved down here)

I was a fan in the transistor radio days. Brooks Henderson, Tom Baxley. I recall Bob Bacon and I think Jon Fedor.

We did a better job shooting today. Only getting one point from the three one-and-ones in the second half is concerning.

Getting killed on the defensive boards was also concerning, but many of the USCe offensive rebounds were due to really poor USCe shots resulting in long rebounds. And because USCe is offensively challenged it did not hurt us.
