Would be nice if they both did their jobs at the same time. The defense steps up, then the offense goes into a shell. When the defense gets shredded, the offense opens back up. Something has to change.

Idk. There’s been some real stinckers…

 

Someone PLEASE teach him to NOT slow up when looking for the ball!!! He gave up a huge chunk play last week doing the exact same thing. Runs in stride with the receiver then slows up to find ball giving said receiver separation and the catch. This has to be corrected!

 

They have stopped shifting with Wilson at this point just crazy we can’t get him the ball

Defense just doesn't seem to have the guys to keep up, they perform much better in the redzone with a smaller field to cover which tells me it's not really a scheme issue but an athletic issue. I'm not sure what our defensive recruiting class looks like but hopefully they can provide some of that for next season.

 

This what I don't understand either. It's not like we have a bunch of scrubs. Yes, we have some depth issues and some players out and younger players, but it's game 10, not game 1 or 2. LSU has like 12 yards per play. That is insurmountable in most cases.

 

Kind of like saying Brussel sprouts doesn’t taste great.
