Really? I switched from the game to the Andy Griffith Show.

 

Gerry Faust was a great HS who Notre Dame made their head coach about 40 years ago. Recruited well because they were ND. Could not coach a lick at the collegiate level. ND honored his contract and just did not renew it after year 4.

We can’t afford to have BN running this team in year 4. Would be the equivalent of a ncaa death penalty!

 

Overheard some locker room talk during the rain delay and it went like this..."Thanks for the input Russ but do you know what 3.34 times 3 is...well guess what it's a first down without even needing a 4th down. Thats the process man...you get that and you are heading for a win...thats all you need. All that other fancy schmancy down the field stuff...whoa buddy thats risky stuff. Maybe you better let me handle this play calling stuff a bit longer...we are soooo close to executing one of our 5 plays perfectly.

Actually I don’t want Billy fired. I would like to see him demoted, to some some basement in Flavet. Keep him on the payroll for the next 4 years. Cheaper than a balloon buyout, and he might become frustrated and quit, saving us millions.

 

Napier is low energy and not taken seriously when he speaks. It rubs off practice after practice, meeting after meeting. No energy so team just going through the motions. Sad really. They have been dumbed down so significantly that they don't seem to care about winning, or losing. Napier has never shown remorse for a loss. Last week he started to but that's third year after a lot of losses and he knows his job and reputation are on the line.

 

No one is suffering when they are making multiple millions to be sub mediocre. Even if Napier turns it around, this is his last year at Florida. There is just bad chemistry that has developed here that can’t be overcome. The consensus is that he is in way over his head.

 

That's what happens when Princely walks out the door and you don't replace him with someone in the portal. I wish someone would ask Napier about that lack of knowledge regarding your own personnel.

 

He record sucks regardless of who scores first?

 

FYI: I put up a couple new game threads for a couple games currently underway that might be of interest.

Collin Klein is a good OC and very well thought of in the coaching business. He will be a HC before too long. It’s a shame Billy didn’t have the foresight to bring a guy like him in, from the start. A massive blunder, imho.

 

Well, we were supposed to have a few guys on roster that, if coached, could play the position.
