Wow-he at least helped to score 35 points-time and time again it's our defense-even when we had Trask-the defense couldn't get stops
Yes, playing against the odds... the wrong scheme on defense... bad mistakes...bad luck... and the wrong defensive scheme to stop the dink and dunk passing offense killed us. This is the team that we should have practiced the run blitz for... but it's obvious that we did NOT do that.
He contributed 35 points-if the defense had a couple of stops-we could have won-I watched this bad defense for several years now
Total BS with total spew from the announcers. Our D stepped up. I'll say it again, the D stepped up!! The result on the field was the tackle was too hard. The sniveling announcers agreed that the tackle was too rough. This is complete and total BS and that call robbed all of us (yes including the losers from LSU) from a real and exciting end to a college football game. Go Gators!
I think its part of the issue perhaps. Old Grantham habits. But tackling and form are taught. These guys look the same as before. I mean McElroy literally drew a circle on the field and said look out, this spot is wide open. Boom. Just as he... And all of us could see.
Am I the only Gator here that remembers the suffocating defenses we used to have? How did we get to this BS defense?
So the second half TDs were meaningless to LSU? The game was OVER before halftime? C'mon. A FG before half changes this entire game? I just guess we'll have to disagree.
You haven't been to Louisiana, have you? So your opinion is pretty worthless. Even if you have been there... still worthless.
Sure changed the game back to them-we had momentum and could have tied the game-that 1 play took the wind out of our sails and gave them 3 additional points
Well, we had these coaches called Mullen and Grantham. They were buddies. They didnt think they needed to recruit because they were so smart. But they werent. So they were fired.
LOL ridiculous..why influence the outcome of the game? They did the same thing in the uk game-while uk and lsu are trying to take out AR ..they call a penalty on a call that could been a "play on" like they did when they ignored how they were trying to rough up AR
A FG before half would have been huge. We have the ball with 2 minutes and only down 7 instead of 10. CBN is not coaching and game managing at an SEC level.
I think anyone who says a FG before halftime changes this entire game is significantly over-stating its importance in hindsight. Again, we'll just have to disagree.
Move to the side, the ball was gone and he was more than a step away. When they replayed in slow motion you could count the steps. Daniels was in full post throw extension. Once he hit him his helmet was face to face with Daniels, GD took 3 more steps falling directly on top of him with his full weight. Any move to the side probably would not have been called. Sucky call but GD made no attempt to shift his movement.
What moral victory? We lost to crappy team. But if for some reason we make a much needed change on one position coaching staff then you would be right. I have seen enough to know that one coach is out of place or he needs some serious help. Will Napier help the man or will he let him sink and drowned? We know he should help. I would help him. But then again... Kirby would just fire position coaches and coordinators, and he was rewarded with a Natty.
