    • Week 5 marks the first-ever meeting between Florida and Eastern Washington on the gridiron.

    • The Gators have played 88 total games against FCS opponents, owning a 67-17-4 record (.784).

    • Florida has won six-straight games vs. the FCS and is 21-1 against FCS opponents since 1981.

    • Florida is 2-0 all-time against the Big Sky, with wins over Idaho (2018: 63-10) and Montana State (1988: 69-0)

    • The Gators have outscored Big Sky opponents, 132-10, in the two prior meetings.

    • Florida most-recently played an FCS opponent last season, defeating Samford, 70-52, on Nov. 13, 2021.

    • Florida QB Anthony Richardson completed 24-of-44 passes for 453 yards and two touchdowns while rushing

    • Richardson finished with 515 total yards of offense, which ranks third all-time in a single game in Florida
    program history. Richardson’s 515 yards of total offense is the top mark in the SEC and P5 this season.

    • WR Ricky Pearsall had 100-plus receiving yards for the second time in his career and first time as a Gator
    (since going for 153 yards against UCLA on Oct. 2, 2021) in Week 4 at Tennessee.
    » Pearsall caught five passes for 103 yards (20.6 avg), setting a new high as a Gator in receiving yardage.

    • WR Justin Shorter also set a career high with 155 yards receiving on seven receptions, topping his previous

    • 2021 All-Sun Belt Freshman of the Year RB Montrell Johnson Jr. and true freshman RB Trevor Etienne have
    been the key cogs in the UF run game, as they lead the Gators with 258 and 201 yards rushing, respectively.

    • Johnson is averaging 7.8 YPC (12th in FBS, third in SEC) on 33 attempts, while Etienne is averging 6.5 YPC
    (eighth in SEC) on 31 rushes. No other Florida player is averging more than 5.0 YPC.

    • The duo has combined for five rushing TDs, 64 carries, 459 yards and 114.75 of UF’s 194.25 rush YPG (59.1%).

    • In Week 3, Johnson Jr. rushed for 103 yards on six carries with 17.2 yards per attempt – the second highest YPC
    in a single game in the FBS this season behind Nicholas Singleton of PSU (17.9 YPC vs. Ohio, 9/10/22).

    • Johnson Jr. became the first UF RB with 100-plus yards since Dameon Pierce vs. FAU on Sept. 4, 2021. Johnson
    Jr. and Pierce are the lone UF RBs to eclipse 100 yards in a game in the last three seasons.

    • Johnson Jr.’s 62-yard TD rush in Week 3 was the longest by a UF RB since Pierce’s 75-yard TD run vs. South
