Oregon State is 9-3 -- about to be 10-3 -- and is ranked 14th in the nation. That isn't middle of the pack. It was unfair of the committee to schedule OSU against us.

So OSU had the same number of yards on that drive than we have had for 3.5 quarters. Ouch. I just wonder going into next year how we are any better than we were going into this year. Next year could be even worse. Going to need the portal to save us.

 

I get it and I’m not trying to be overly negative here. OSU is a better team, it was a bad match up and we’ve got our biggest weapon out. But the season as a whole has left some questions.

Here's the thing, if we coach them by committee then they are not really getting the attention to detail that they need. And it's showing.

If I were to prepare for a bowl game, assuming our payers all know their assignments and positions.

I would practice the two minute offense.
I would practice the red-zone offense.
I would practice the hurry up offense.
I would practice special teams play. Special teams play is a skill that seems to be the most perishable past of our game, if we don't do it every day at the end of practice.

Meyer practiced it every day and we were the best in the nation when he coached it. For the life of me I don't know why more coaches don't know that important fact of this game.

playing in the bowl game is a good/fun experience for the players.....hell, I've never been to vegas....my daughter (gator grad) is there on business and watched the team enter the hotel lobby yesterday.... loud and a lot of fun with the gator chomp.....maybe they're in town for only a couple of days....but hopefully a good time.....wish the football was.....but i digress.....remember last year's recruiting class fizzled out just a bit.....don't count your chickens yet.....and the portal will be brutally competitive.......do we have enough lambo's?.....willing to give BN a fair chance but a lot needs to happen starting with
an OC.......now 30-0.......remember the important things in life.....happy holidays everyone....

They were 1-3 vs ranked teams. Including getting blown out by Utah. They still have no nfl talent. It’s okay to lose but man, should we get abused?

Agreed. OSU has a pretty decent defense. We should not have allowed them to post 30+ points because their QB sucks, but still.
