Problem is our play action is long developing. What would work is quick play action game? Zone read, pull out, and hit it.

 

Run stuffed on 1st down when we're in obvious running formation. Then when they're in Nickel we throw it. And we have 3rd down.

None of what I just said is surprising. Need to change up the play calling!

Billy just isn't a great OC. He isn't terrible but its not his thing. Especially passing game schematics. If he wants to moonlight as anything he can be running game coordinator.
