Why don't we have a screen pass to our RB in our playbook? That is the best way to offset a heavy blitz on an obvious paying down but we don't ever do it.

 

14th ranked team matched up against a 6-6 squad plagued with opt outs and transfers. Good times...

You watching the same game? Pass protection has been decent but everything else has been WOEFUL.

 

I guess no one thought the Beavs were gonna blitz hey..

Once again, a penalty killed a drive. Apparently, our offense isn't potent enough to overcome a simple 5 yard penalty.

 

Yep and so many have written him off. Just tough to fight penalties, scheme, etc to really show who he is. Big trouble if we go down 14-0. 6-7 first year not good.

 

As fans we are so funny-when he kicks-we say should have gone for it-when he goes for it-we should have kicked lol

 

Scheme hasn’t been good all year.

 

Haven't been many open holes so far.

 

If we recognize a heavy blitz, we need to make them pay. Gotta call a different protection or hot route or audible to another play altogether

 

I I think it was a good call. We're already supposed to lose but convert that and it's a big momentum builder. We're an unranked.500 team down 30 players, might as well wing it.

 

Miller is playing tough I like it.

 

he will get a chance i just dont see him as a starter fir us.

 

I'd use the pass to open up the running game. Undisciplined football so far. Still early.
