Not long before they double Pearsall and take away our whole offense.

 

I can't speak for the players, of course. But if they're anything like the fans, they expect to be playing for national championships. Or at least a New Years Six game. It's thus hard to get excited about the SRS Distribution Bowl.

When we end up in these crappy bowl games, it's a much bigger deal for the scrub team that we get matched against. Thus it's easier for them to be "jacked" for it...

Need to get the running game going. Miller is doing his job.

 

The lack of AR is definitely influencing the run game....

With no AR threat to run they aren't dedicating the player to cover the edge (hence why he always had a guy in his face on rollouts). They are loading up to stop the run the same as when AR was in there, but the edge guy looks to be crashing a lot more right now than we've seen all year.

Because I have eyes and I see them bouncing all over the place. At least it seems to me, but I could be wrong.

 

Looks like Miller connecting on 6 of his last 6 has opened up the run game. Beavers stacking the box until we force them out of it and Miller is starting to do that. Might have ourselves a good game today.
