Other factors need to be considered. They have 12 games to play. Penalizing a kid for almost 10% of his season over what could be the result of an offensive players movement or referee discretion is a problem. Maybe varying degrees or levels of contact. I don't know. But seen too many kids lose time to sketchy calls. Not that that was good technique in this case.

 

Early in the game more likely not supposed to. Have to feed the RB's and get them going.
