I didn't mean talent catching up-I mean every now and again-even a blind squirrel finds a nut lol So every 30 years or so-vandy beats us in Nashville lol-we actually did gift wrap the game -lol

That blind squirrel found it’s nut last year in the swamp, I believe. Lucky squirrel to find one two years in a row. Surprised that squirrel even survived. Dam$ squirrel.

We didn’t run the ball well. 210+ and we win. Less than that and we lose.

I don't think it was on AR solely. I just don't get our hard headedness with running the same play the same way when Vandy clearly had figured out a way to stop it. But those penalties and that incredible brain fart punt gift wrapped TD. A lot of bad things had to happen for Vandy to win this game and they did happen. But AR clearly has very little game situational awareness. He does this every game so it's not just a mistake, it's a habit. He's got to know down, distance and clock in crunch time but he just doesn't.

How can we expect a QB to know that when our coach doesn’t?

That was Shane’s take as far as NIL potentially affecting who gets to play. Today was the first time I felt that AR wasn’t giving his all. Now if he’s hurt and we don’t know about it, that may explain it, but I didn’t see the fire in him. It was truly disappointing.

It wasn’t solely on AR, but we needed him to show up to win the game. He decided to not run the ball for some reason.

if he is hurt he definitely should not be playing. Either way, it is impossible to excuse the non-use of such a valuable asset if the asset appears available for usage. There were no fake QB runs. So he wasn’t even being used as a decoy. And Vandy’s defense is not so vaunted that we should have to disguise our intentions.

The hard truth is that with lower ranked athletes out of HS, with a fraction of the physical plant and investment in supportive staff, with a lollipop schedule of opponents compared to ours, and with no incentive to lure potential 5 stars next year (or motivation not to lose the ones that have committed), Vandy played with more purpose, more confidence, more aggression, more unity, and more organization.

As I mentioned earlier, Napier is getting a crude introduction to the SEC. There are no days off.

He obviously gets a pass because this is his first year, but it puts more pressure on him and his staff moving forward.

People will argue that despite being a first year coach, we should have won at least at least 3 of the five games we lost (Tennessee, Kentucky, and Vanxerbilt).

Napier HAS to learn how losing winnable games tips the scale in recruiting 5 star talent

Not on AR at all. I’m shocked people saying this. With an awful game plan and missing 2 of top 3 receivers went 25-42 for 400 and that’s with 6 drops.

Shane is ridiculously critical of Anthony.
Head Coach calls plays, focal points, etc. pretty easy for Billy as the main guy to say Anthony run the ball!!
Did you see any QB power calls or QB draws? That’s on Head Coach.

Based on what sample size do you make that assessment of Kitna?

We’re you also calling for AR last year when EJ was playing like crap?

Not saying kick Napier to the curb but go look at the last 2 years of recruiting rankings and compare UF to Vandy..

Yep we are stuck for 3 years.
Hope is he recruits great and then if he can’t bring his coaching up to the level needed to win we have a stocked roster for the next guy.

That’s a good thought but how did the team look good vs Utah, USCe, and the second half of TAAM?
Did we suddenly have to change the scheme because we lost a bunch of players due to some illness?
Our talent level is two tiers above Vandy.
This is squarely on the coaches.
