    That is if you have a passing attack that throws the ball downfield. They sit on routes because we more often than not run shorter routes.

    We all know Graham Mertz is mostly accurate on short to intermediate throws. I’d wager that opposing DC’s know the same. They’re not worried on UF “stretching the field” on them. We also don’t have the receivers to stretch the field either. We just lack the arm and lack the WR speed to be a downfield threat.
