Barber is one of our better down field blockers so not having him will hurt the run game.

We really love that bootleg pass. The DE doesn’t crash the run and is in the QB’s face, so all that is there is the quick pass to the TE, which is then shut down for a 3-4 yard gain. Not working, yet we ran it two series in a row.

Hanging tough. Looks like they made some adjustments after that first series. Mizzou is playing more conservative on offense than I thought they would early on.

 

The defense has stiffened after that first drive but we keep giving them good field position.
