I guess this offense reminds me of the early 1980s with #15 Wayne Peace throwing short passes to the edges…on weed.

 

I do like CBN. But there’s some seriously inexcusable stuff going on.

 

Prefer an SOS offense, a Stoops defense and Napier or Urban recruiting.

 

Whittingham up 13 and still fired up. Nice to see.

 

A John Madden used to say, if you need a first down, throw it past the first down marker, not behind it...I will have little patience with Napier based on this great showing...

 

Worse yet...Billy not likely to make any changes.

 

Tough game. Not giving up on this team but they have work to do.

 

Whelp, I guess that's that... error ridden debacle of sorts.

Post game thoughts
The good:
We have more talent overall

Defense looked better

Passing game will be better

The bad:
Oline was horrendous

Coaching sloppy

 

Even Sean Kelly has a bad night - missed our TD catch and then thought Utah made a field goal when they did not. Pretty rookie mistakes and he's not a rookie.

 

I'm stealing it off the European internet so the delay is about 30 seconds, otherwise I would do the same.

 

That and prep. Really disappointed in how unready we looked.

Are the newer rules about practice having an impact?

 

Utes awe well coached and they have a good defense but this loss is all about the UF offensive line. They will have to shake some things up this week. A couple of those guys don’t keep it together come game time. I hope the other guys can get it together.
