Look we Fite Napier this season, all players get 30 days to be contacted by the likes of Kirby, sark etc. All these teams drool over some of good players - Lagway, Baugh, McCray, ,Gates all will have huge paydays to leave and play for our rivals- so not only don't we have a better roster in '25 but the new coach will have a cupboards are bare situation again!
Keeping Billy 1 more year - probably keeps this roster together( see lageay and family tweets from the news Billy is staying). And it would show a future coach that he would be given ample time to resurrect the brand . Smart play given most teams on our schedule will be starting new qb's next season. Not the time you want to be doing a complete rebuild.

I said this last weekend, we found our running game but Napier last week went away from it and lost the game on that naked bootleg. Today, we are rushing more than any team has against Texas this season and there's still an entire quarter left.
