You can spin it anyway you want, He had a first round draft pick he had his quarterback, and he had the number one recruit in the nation and he can’t win games. Short of winning next week and then beating FSU. I still think we may be moving on. He cannot finish any worse than six and six this year and that’s a major problem. The last ,3 seasons have been far worse than any comparable period in the 70s.

The last thing we should do is fire Stricklin and Napier. Imagine how much money we'd have to spend flying the team to playoff games.

 

The defense has improved quite a bit. Our offense has cost us game after game after game. Defense can only hold out and stay on the field so long, especially with not much depth. An inept offense can completely ruin a team.

I seem to recall that was in a national championship game not a regular season game to try to stay above 500. The two are definitely not the same.

 

This was a perfect storm for a beatdown. Third string qb that is not good but more like an extra arm for practice, tons of injuries on both side of the ball, playing an away game, and a team that wants to move up in the polls.
Our program was wrecked long before this. SS's pick of coaches and his throwing tons of money to hire BN was the nail in the coffin. We owe so much money to BN that to hire a top coach we will have to pay again huge sums. We might just have to ride this thing out for awhile and hope BN adds an OC and does well in the portal. With schedule as daunting as next year once again we are left to hoping 6-6 for next year which means we've gone from bad to mediocre.
On to Basketball and baseball.

 

How about we show the coaches down by 42 in the 3rd quarter? If this isn’t the final nail in napiers coffin, what is it going to take?
