Because so many worry about the streak. How about the streak of losing seasons?

 

#14 got burned repeatedly, next one up?

 

I'm sure Billy just wanted to get on the board......thought it'd be a sure way to do that.......

 

Watching this game unfold, I’m guessing SS timed the release of his statement to precede this game. Even though we’re decimated with injuries on both sides of the line, and even though our guys are again playing their hearts out, impatient and unrealistic Gator “fans” will be screaming even louder for Billy’s head when we lose to Texas. The endorsement of Billy is probably more for the players than anyone else.

I continue to be heartened and even impressed with the character and effort by our players and the improving leadership by Billy. This is a marathon not a sprint. We have a good and improving team in place and tearing it apart right now will only hurt us next year.

 

Thank goodness Texas can't connect on these plays.

 

Your offense is in terrible spot.
Top RB out
Top 2 WR out.
Your 3rd string QB is outmatched.

And Billy plays for FGs when we are knocking at the door.

I just can't man.

 

You have to go for there three points to win against a team like Texas. But some worried about keeping the scoring streak alive when most worry about trying to win games.

 

We got time.

 

He wasn't concerned with the streak with that FG attempt......

 

Only misses when it matters.

 

Can we borrow Manning for the rest of this game?

 

Tilly SS basically said Billy’s record doesn’t matter or his performance.

 

I think it was a message for recruits.

 

I strongly, but respectfully, disagree. Seems football and basketball programs are cursed.

 

Need to go for it if we want to win.

 

The notion that the coaches care about this streak is absurd.

We aren't winning this game with Warner at QB and all the other pieces missing. The scoring streak and the players playing as hard as they can are all I'm looking for in this game. Don't get me wrong, and upset would be awesome, but we all need to set some realistic goals for today
