Why didnt Jones pass it back to CC. I mean hw was wide open...typically Jones has been good in SEC play but late possessions is not his thing. That needs to go to Lofton or someone else becsuse my goodness.

I long for players like Horford, Taurean Green, Matt Walsh, Wilbikin, Chiozza….No one on our team has even close to their Basketball IQ. Terrible mental mistakes cost us — careless turnovers, terrible shot selection, situational awareness. We need to get better with this stuff since we do not shoot well.

Agree, looked like Kentucky was willing to give up a 2 and we weren’t willing to take it to the basket.

In four possessions back to back he has two bad shots and loses his player on D that scored. And, yes, others do silly things too be he seems to have regressed lately for whatever reason.

Bad final possession by the Gators. Jones got trapped, passes to CC, who passes it right back to Jones who is still trapped. Head scratcher. But at least we put ourselves in position late to steal a win.

 

Agreed. I think CC was expecting the quick double leaving Jones open for a 3. Not sure. Would have liked to see a lot more quick passing and a lot less dribbling . . . but that goes for most of the game too. Still, they had a chance to steal one!

 

Last 2 mins of first half killed us.
