We are still without a single 3 (0 for 5). Meanwhile Bama is 9 for 17. That's a 27 point swing in a game we are down by 29. Hows that for analytics?
Trouble shooting from the field and line, not keeping up with dribblers, leaving open 3s. Large can of whup ass opened. Could be a historic loss on the way.
It's just sad that Alabama of all teams now kills us in basketball too. We should have a better program imo, but they made a great hire. That's what it takes. Hope Golden is that guy but hiring him means we'll have to wait and see. Really hope Golden can recruit big-time talent. Not knocking overseas big men as you can never have enough bigs, but this isn't going to bring Florida back to being a contender. The portal, especially mid major players alone aren't the answer either. They're good for filling out the roster but very few big time impact players are available through the portal imo.
Just about everyone is frustrated by this first half of action. Some express frustration at the performance and others vent at those who vent their frustrations. Bama is impressive...I don't think we can beat Bama's 2nd team. I guess I can go to youtube and check out some old Gator games to feel good again.
Years ago I remember tearing up when we made our first Final 4. Now I just tear up. Been too long from having competitive teams with that team talent.
