I love this team.

 

Great half! Down by 11 and now all tied up. With better 3 point D and good help D on the back end, we have just as good a chance to win this game as they do.

 

Yes you said I think he was on par with Kugel in high school. I also think he's a good player.
He should play alot next year.

 

Know it’s early but the biggest difference in this team vs recent teams of s the way we close out halves.

Worth mentioning: Kugel made a good impact that half on O. And he continues to really commit on the defensive end.

 

Baylor is going to think twice about driving the ball to the hoop.

 

We play much cleaner with Pullin on the floor. We have outscored them on fast break points 13-2. Just gotta keep the pressure on Walter and Bridges. They have 11 turnovers now to our 9. Kugel had a solid first half with 8 points, 2-2 shooting 3's, 2 assists, 2 turnovers and leads the team with 4 rebounds.

 

Kugel is playing well and importantly within himself. Will need him in second half

Baylors good but proud of our guys, definitely in the game.

 

We really need him to commit on the defensive end, especially out at the 3 point line, against Walter. He'll get his easy buckets on offense with these other guards moving the ball around so well.

 

All they could talk about at halftime is what does Baylor do to win.

We put together a bad stretch and Baylor was hot, but we scratched our way back into it. We can win this if we make them really work to get open 3s.

 

I think Kugel did his job on the defensive end. We got caught a little slow several times in our switching defense and they're passing was very crisp finding the open guy.
