Seems like the overall mood is that Napier is on the right track. It’s hard to be critical with so many freshmen playing. Even last week you take away one horrible quarter and the guys played pretty well. Long hard stretch coming up, hopefully the fans remain positive and see the progress.

 

Tend to agree but 2nd quarter leaves us with plenty of room for improvement.

Our first series at the start of the 3rd quarter is huge

 

I like the way we are trending. We get the ball in the second half and Pig Soouie has proven to not have the depth and/or will to finish.

Agreed. Quick hit passes. Wilson, Pearsall and Boardingham in with ETN and Arkansas should have trouble covering fast stuff . . . maybe then go long. Just spitballing.

Again - don't understand why our staff doesn't see it and get someone on board to take over that component of our offense......

 

Yes, but when you look back and say your QB is playing well (and Mertz IS playing well) and the offense digs out of a 14-point hole it’s hard to complain. O Line is struggling today and Napier is doing that which must be done to put the team in a position to win.

nah. Only other WR’s this cycle are Jeremiah Smith (Ohio State) & Cam Coleman (A&M) who are both at today’s game

I think the staff is protecting the offensive line with the play calling.

 

Can’t wait to see what adjustments we made at halftime

 

Picked up a PWO yesterday who I think is going to be very good. Completely underrated player.
