That's 85 free innings (or 12+ games worth) for them compared to our pitchers letting our opponents put a ball in play that many additional times.

Illustratively, we struck out 1UT batter today. Just 1.

 

All you people including me that have criticized this program have pretty much kicked this can as far down the road as it can go. Season is basically over. Many of you including myself are very disappointed with this season. I have to let it go. All I can hope is there are changes to some of the assistant coaches and the new superstars coming next fall live up to their billing.

I expect Tennessee to be in the WCWS this season. Then again, I expected FSU to advance and they lost in regionals last season.

 

I wonder how Sam Bender feels. Her former team is SEC regular season champs, possibly SEC Tournament champs, and a favorite to go back to the WCWS. While it'll probably be the first time since 2006 Florida failed to advance out of regionals. I said 2006 and not 2012 because what happened right before NCAA regionals.

 

I believe Ralph has early-onset dementia. I cannot quote a source for that, but I have heard it a couple of times.
