Lampkin plays like a middle linebacker but he has a good touch and we have no defensive answers for him or anyone else on their team.
We need Larry Shyatt next year.

 

The refs have let him get away with pushing his way in. On the other end he only has 2 fouls, which is bs. CO is annoying as hell.

 

Yeah, and we had a lot of our people this season who didn't appreciate Micah's impact on the game. Some even said that we were a better team without him. That's why advanced metrics and analytics are overrated. I don't need numbers to tell me what my eyes see. Our team just isn't as good without Micah. We saw that at the beginning of the season.

 

They have 6 missed shots the entire half

 

We need to force them to make shots. They have like 15 straight at the rim. Its ridiculously easy

 

You have to be able to switch your defense. It seems like we have been playing man-to-man the whole game.

Our defense has been our Achilles heel all year. Hopefully Golden & Co make that a priority in the off-season (and zone offense)

 

I believe it was in the first 30 seconds of the first half.

 

We are young, but there’s no way they shoot 100% without the refs help.

 

Not sure why our d is so bad. Most times shot their best % when they played, esp from 3.

 

We have played matador lateral defense all year. I think it shows up pretty clearly in game film

 

CO doing whatever they wanted and the refs were there for it

Todd has to address defense next year

 

This is one of those games where it’s more about them winning instead of us losing the game
