If OM kept Corral in the game instead of rotating with Plumlee they very well could have won this game.

 

The 2007 defense is shaking their heads at this game.

1:06 left in the game and Gran still can’t put a guy on Coral and prevent him from running wild. smh!

 

Worst game period. I still can't find a game where we gave up more yards.

Defense has been quite a buzz-kill on what has been a big day for our offense. We got serious issues on that side of the ball.

 

If the defense played with a pulse today, we’d be talking about how this is a championship caliber team...

I have a hard time believing they aren’t better than this...

 

Just recover the onside kick and get the hell outta there smh

Frustrating , Disgusting display by the Defense today.
No excuse for over 500 yards of offense.

Rewatch it. The ball was gone as soon as he hit Trask. He continued to wrap up and drive Trask for 2-3 additional steps before getting Trask off his feet and slamming him into the ground. He was trying to lift up Trask and throw Trask down the whole time. It was just hard for him to get leverage on Trask.

The ball was out. It was excessive to continue trying to tackle the qb in that manner. He should have pulled up after the hit. He didn’t. Got rightly flagged.

 

Thank the heavens we did not have last year's opening offensive performance. We would have been blown out today. It will get much better.

 

Well, a win is a win.
