He played high school ball about 15 mins down the road from me. He was a stud then too. He moves well on the field , always seems to know where he’s going or what he’s trying to do.

 

I have to say, lets get a touchdown first drive, then we need to Seriously work on our run game

I’m shocked at how much of an actual receiver toney looks like this year. Good for that kid. Seems to have put work in

 

Dexter looks unreal. Haven’t seen a freshman play like that since Marcus Thomas

I have to eat some crow that Toney has become a real weapon at WR. Liked seeing Whittemore getting some PT. Liked to see that Shorter was out there, but he has to become a defender on that duck throw from Jones off the back foot. Bad decision to try that long throw off the back foot.

Overall tackling is horrible. Miller having two big plays out of three downs. Love to see Dexter and Torrence getting early and often playing time against an SEC opponent that has some offense. This will pay off down the road against bigger opponents.

 

And some tackling. When I was in high school we would have tackling drills at halftime LOL
