Richards a no show, poor second half rebounding I think zero offensive rebounds that can't happen, not figured out zone offense, and bad reffing.
Two starters have us absolutely nothing today and the coach didn't play the guy on the bench who was making all the difference. Makes no sense.
The refs didn't cost us anything. Terrible handling of the zone combined with a mix of poor defense and them hitting a few very tough shots did.

But that's a reflection of the style of play to me. They went to the 1-3-1 zone most of the 2nd half and we stopped driving to the basket and working it inside. No movement, just dribbling around and forcing long jumpers. ZERO offensive rebounds the 2nd half. You don't get fouls called in your favor when you just stand around and take jumo shots. They blocked our guys off the boads the 2nd half and just took the game away from us. USC kept forcing the play and our guys kept fouling. I give USC's coach credit for making the defensive adjustment and our guys not responding. They dominated the last 8-10 minutes of the game and earned the win, IMO.
TG has to address this in his post game presser. LSU did this to us and shut us down and now they have. I think we’re gonna see a lot of zone from a lot of other teams from here on out.
Once game was in hand for usce the refs could afford ticky tack fouls. Either these refs are biased or with sports betting - paid.
