Oh this is 100% on the OC, even more so than having an actual OC, OC isn't expected to have a team ready to play.

Isn’t nape supposed to be the process ninja? I don’t mind being outschemed (I do, but I expect that to be part of our system), but these strange brain fart , unprepared fouls are maddening.

He very well could be if he did some reflexion and concluded the following:

1. He MUST hire a full-time Special Teams coach.

2. He is a sub-par OC and play caller. He must give up these roles and hire the very best candidate possible.

These two changes would completely transform our program.

 

It sure looks like it on the field. They look like Georgia right now.
