May he get a degree from wherever he ends up and work for a living like the rest of us

 

Maybe George will take his spot inside and shine. That’s where the kid belongs anyway and he was durable. So far he wants to be a gator, so I am rooting for him

 

While college football has been slowly degrading over the years, the recent combination of NIL and unrestricted portal transfers has turned college football upside down. It has now gotten completely ridiculous.

Given that Mazzcua was reputed to be one of our better o-linemen, he couldn't have left simply because we happen to currently have a bunch of them. He was going to get plenty of playing time to showcase his talent. There must be something else going on. $$$$?

How can schools expect fans to give a crap about a team full of players who could care less about the university or its fans? This past season was the first season since the early '70's that I didn't attend a game.

If the powers that be don't fix it, we should all turn it off en masse. I fully intend to. Hit the greedy jerks where it counts.

 

You have a guy like McLellan transferring to play with these same idiots. As you said, Why should people care about a team the players themselves dont?

Yes, he did.

 

He played in 1 game last year and has been on scholarship for 4 years. I think he is now a graduate so its time for him to move on with that degree.

 

When he got here, wasn't he the one that required shoulder surgery and then immediately starting talking about a transfer? Maybe he's got some long-term issues that won't fully resolve, so his NFL career may be limited and he needs to make as much money as possible in college. Just gross speculation, but if I were a college athlete with conditions that may limit my professional career earnings, I'd maximize that money now.

Mizzou is a nasty, classless team. It was a sad day, imo, when we let them in the conference.
