If you mean actual game coverage, you can't. Softball simply posted this on twitter. It is not from a broadcast. Good shot though.

 

Not to distract from the players pockets.....but UF just had 15 players reach base, including 5 doubles, 2 triples, and 2 homers from Walsh. In one inning

Tomorrow will be more of the same. Even though the competition was from a D1 school, travel ball teams were better. I get that everyone gets to be involved. I’m sure these girls want competition. As a matter of fact, I know it.

 

Yeah, I expected it to be a little lopsided....but I thought these schools might have some pitching.
I'm wondering if they know they can't beat UF and are saving their best pitching for winnable games in the tourney. Would probably be the smart thing, try and win the winnable games

Apparently, there were two plays in each game that were questionable as a hit or error. I've been an official scorer for at least a 1000 games. No official scorer should take away a no-hitter on a questionable play. In fact, a situation could arise where in the first inning there was a questionable play scored at the time as a hit with no knowledge the game would keep going and end with that as the only hit. The official scorer has the latitude, and should, go back and change that first inning play to an error.

 

I thought high schools, too.

 

I believe they did.

 

I have to give these girls from Colgate some credit. After being humiliated and drilled by Gators 21-0, they immediately beat UIC in extra innings.
