    Same thing as yesterday. Had the middle of our order up with a chance to win the game and couldn't do it. Now they have 9-1-2 coming up and we'll have the bottom of our order up in the bottom of the 8th. C'mon Ava, bear down and get 'em out!!

    Great job, Ava! Their AA SS Taylor Pleasants is 1-11 for the series. 7-8-9 up for the Gators. Maybe Brown can get ahold of one and end it.

    What a way to win the game. On a Skylar Wallace strikeouts that the catcher can't hold onto and throws it over the first baseman's head, allowing Brooke Barnard to score from 3rd after a walk and a Falby double with 2 outs. Gators win 6-5. Awesome!!!!!

    Wow, Skyler Ks on a ball in the dirt and catcher throws it over 1st baseman's head, Barnard scores the winner. :)

    Have to think Skylers speed was a factor in the bad throw.

    Need to clean up our lack of bat discipline, but won the game on a swing at a pitch in the dirt. Go figure. Coached a lot of baseball and fast pitch softball…simple mantra was “we swing at strikes”.

    Ocala, you and sweetpotato had this team dead and buried....so did I. This Gator team is never out of it. Remember Jordan Mathews miracle homerun against A&M to get to WCWS.

    What is up with that -- she never looked formidable and Torina left her in forever.

    Our bench needs to be longer so that we can sub pinch runners like everyone else does. I think the NCAA allows 22 players eligible for the game plus three additional ineligible dressed. Or better yet, limit pinch runners.

    0 for 4 tonight
    0 for 2 with the winning run on 3B

    On the other hand, CTW always tells the batter, "find a way" during the game when he's coaching 3B. Skyler got the game winning......strike out.

    I'd say that was pretty much the sentiment of the KSP crowd tonight at that point in the game. Luckily, there were nine girls who didn't agree.

    To me, that was the most amazing moment in at least my Gator softball history. The entire inning was just crazy. I've been able to find a video of Mathews' at bat on the Internet, but would trade one of my kids for a video of the entire inning.
