(SB) Official Game Thread Florida vs. Georgia Southern Friday 3 PM

I don't think she played high school softball her last year or 2. Concentrated on travel ball so she could face better pitching and was an excellent hitter.

 

Katie Kistler, playing RF today, pops up to 2nd on a 2-1 count to end the inning. Going to the 3rd, Gators up 1-0.

 

7-8-9 up for GS. First batter lines out to 2nd on a 1-0 pitch. #8 batter lines the first pitch for a single to RF.

Skylar doubles to left center on a 3-1 pitch.

 

Erickson singles to right center on a 3-1 pitch to drive in Wallace. 2-0 Gators.

 

Brown up, Erickson steals 2nd on a delayed steal on an 0-2 count. Ava misses a home run - just a few feet foul. Then strikes out looking on a 3-2 count and the 9th pitch of the AB. Going to the 4th, 2-0 Florida.

 

3-4-5 up for the Eagles. First batter flies out to CF on an 0-1 pitch.

 

Next batter gets a single up the middle on an 0-2 pitch.

3rd batter of the inning walks on a 3-2 count. Rothrock in a little trouble here. 2 on, 1 out. Audio problems on the radio broadcast.

 

Keagan bears down and gets a strikeout swinging on a 1-2 count for the 2nd out.

 

Rothrock strikes out the next batter to end the inning unscathed. UF still ahead 2-0.
