OK I will help you! When the referee raises both hands straight in the air it is a touchdown! That is all I have or some crazy posters say that is all I have. Who am I to argue?
Sasse and Smart both start with S, have the same number of letters, are never seen together, sniff ass...
An LSU booster who pleaded guilty to felony wire fraud and money laundering charges in June has been sentenced to 33 months in federal prison. U.S. District Court Judge John W. deGravelles sentenced John Paul Funes, the former president and CEO of Our Lady of the Lake (OLOL) Foundation in Baton Rouge to also pay $796,000 in restitution, ESPN reported. He reportedly embezzled more than $500,000 from a hospital foundation and gave some of the stolen money to the parents of two former LSU football players. Federal prosecutors alleged Funes defrauded the foundation, which raised money for Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center, from 2012 to September 2018 by submitting bogus payment authorization vouchers and check requests, including checks to himself. If they believe that Michigan is the blueprint, then they need to get the hell out of the SEC and join the Big 10 where we would only have 2-3 difficult game per year. The Big 10 would be all over UF like a chicken on a June-bug. In the SEC, most programs would steal from their sweet, old grandma if it meant an extra win per year.
And yet some people still think some of these programs didn't buy their titles. People really underestimate the depths these boosters and programs will stoop to to win.
What really chaps my balls is the talking heads that slather praise over these blatant cheaters over and over. Disgusting.
You should try the new Lume ball chap cream …it moisturizes and provides day long ball odor relief plus much needed moisture wicking from your taint area.
Question: In the 90s we won many SEC titles and Nattie. In the 2000s we won 2 natties. This was after Pell/NCAA coming down on us, but somehow we won clean with great academics and now we are strict on academics and our bagmen are gone? The truth is we fell behind in facilities and our athletic association is deeply conservative and afraid. It used to be we lost players to academics but I have not seen that in years. The kernel of truth in your criticism should be leveled at the UFAA, b/c our academic success is unrelated to our football failure (or success in the 90s/2000s). Put another way, if you think our academic requirements are a primary cause of our current failure, explain Spurrier/Meyer eras? The biggest problem has been repeated firings/tumult/turnover/expenses. The blame for that is the AD. Blaming our football failure on a US News No.1 public university and not that is absurd and misses the point of failure we need to correct going forward. Two final notes - I have been told that we are right up there with NIL money (which is amazing given our on field results). The tumult and poor results is scaring kids, not lack of money. Finally, you are wrong when you say “not 1 single fan gives an F about grades.” Some of us desperately want to win AND do not want to sell our schools integrity by having a Deion sanders who never went to class. Again, however, it is coaching/decisions stopping us, not some “nerd” alumni base people like to blame (Michigan, UGA and plenty of other academically highly ranked public schools do well in football).
We are not Vanderbilt. Like it or not we have spent far more on athletics, especially football that Vandy. Not even close.
