aTm still has road games at LSU and Ole Miss down the stretch. Jimbo won't lose his job for going 7-5 this year, but nobody does less with more.

Their loss at Miami isn't aging well either.

Sure wish we had gotten Evan Stewart. Jimbo made his entire career on the back of that 13 team and the Tallahassee police dept

 

I really thought Jimbo would take the Ags to the next level. He's been no better than Sumlin.

 

I always knew he’d flop. Maybe it was wishful thinking, but it just seemed like he had one good year in a weak, down conference. Way too much money for what he produced. If he didn’t get an ‘oh my god’ contract, there might be a little more tolerance to lose a little along the way, knowing better days are ahead. I mean good for him to cash in at exactly the right time and hold an in conference rival hostage with mediocrity and little ability to pivot for a looong time.

 

I tried to people here back when they beat AU jimbo is a mediocre coach who had a talent advantage and played in a weak conference and he would be average 8-4 kinda guy in the SEC. Who would gave thought back then he would jump into the fire when his semi house was collapsing

That Tennessee win is looking better for us, so there’s that.

Jimbo is a slime ball, his career will end with aTm. That long term contract and his ability to do less with more is getting full exposure.

 

Worse, actually, record wise.
But at least they're paying him a lot more, for a long time.
So, they've got that going for 'em. Which is nice.

 

Even Candi knew better than to stick with Jimbo.
