None of which exists here. This denial is all politics. Gov. Hochum even essentially said it was political. Which I will remind her that New York has no right to try to enforce their lack of morals on other states.

Northern states should have been compelled to return escaped slaves to the south too right?

I'm sure that he thinks that the Fugitive Slave Act and the Dred Scott decision were good law.

Louisiana wants NY to extradite for something that is not even a crime in NY, and the doctor never set foot in LA.

Looks like Louisiana is competing with Texas for the designation as the real Gilead.

I doubt she ever will. I would imagine that any medical professional who performs abortions will avoid states that want to execute them.

Although they couldn't get away with it retroactively it wouldn't surprise me if the Trump Administration decides to prosecute doctors who mail Mifepristone or other abortion inducing drugs under the Comstock Act.
Anti-Abortion Extremists Want to Use the 150-Year-Old Comstock Act to Ban Abortion Nationwide | ACLU
During the campaign Trump did say that he wouldn't use the Comstock Act to ban the mailing of the drugs but then he also said that he never heard of Project 2025 and has already starting implementing multiple provisions of the plan one of which is the use of the Comstock Act which he could very well implement in the future.

The Comstock Act's Threat to Abortion Rights If Harris Loses
Gene P. Hamilton, a member of former President Donald Trump’s Administration, proposes in Project 2025 — the blueprint for a second Trump Presidency put together by an array of conservative groups — that the next conservative President should resurrect parts of the Comstock Act, a relic of the 19th century. The law banned the mailing of any obscene matter as well as items used to procure an abortion. Hamilton asserts that the Supreme Court’s Dobbs decision, which eliminated the constitutional protections for abortion services, cleared the way to enforce Comstock once again. This would provide a way for the federal government to severely constrict access to abortion without Congress passing a new law.
