Hope New York doesn't want any prisoners from Louisiana anytime soon. I would tell any non-felony criminals they can come to Louisiana and they will never extradite them to New York.

If it becomes "blue states won't extradite to red states" and "red states won't extradite to blue states", they can forget ever getting Donald Trump once he is out of office in 4 years. I'm sure they'll love it when someone commits a crime in New York, immediately flees, get to Louisiana or some other red state, and those states won't extradite to New York because New York won't extradite to Louisiana. Lets say a murderer for example. So then the family has to live with the fact that the murderer of a family member is completely free in another state, all because New York wanted to play politics.

Extraditions are not automatic. There are many reasons why an extradition is either approved or denied. Has the local televangelist issued a fatwa calling for her head?
