Bet he's gone in less than one year. Mama thinks he should be starting now. Terrible work effort. Too small.

No schollie. Give it to a kid that wants to be a Gator with a commitment to work and learn.

If Neon Deon couldn't change him, nobody can.

All this talk of humble pie. This kid needs to eat apple pie, pumpkin pie, blue berry pie and weight gainer in large quantities.

Neon mentioned he missed multiple meetings and training. Ditto for the high school all star events. Terrible work ethic.

The light won't go on until he matures. After 25.

Huh? You're one of the ones that has slammed the staff for even considering this kid.

Will you be leading the charge to forfeit our national championship that a convicted murderer was a large part of winning? Asking for a friend. It is generally accepted that he was doing a lot of criminal activity during his time in Gainesville.

If he was obviously a murderer at UF and our game was more important, I would no longer be a fan. Much like the Bucs drafting his sorry ass.

We went over this on SG when I called out another poster for saying AH was involved in a murder.
Can you share with the board your justification for saying this??
What "criminal activity" was AH involved in while in G-ville??

    Because I can't find anything.

And I have every right to do so. What I’m not going to do is compare the kid to Jameis Winston like another poster did, he hasn’t done anything egregious enough for that.

I hope the light comes on right now and the kid starts to get it. He was still talking shit on social media just a few weeks ago.

People knew he was dirty, even back then. It was allowed to continue. But I’m not arguing that we should get those championships voided, I’m responding to you being on your high horse about Jameis Winston and FSU’s championship. Keep the same energy about UF, if you claim to be a person of that kind of integrity.

I know this is GC and here Jameis is a convicted serial rapist but technically they were only allegations, right?

He was an identified as a shooter in a 2007 incident Gainesville. The witness later recanted. There are rumors of other behavior.

I did no such thing. I just said UF is better than that if you can’t understand the implied meaning. I’m behind the kid 109% if he becomes a gator.

Multiple allegations and definitely not convicted. It is definitely a shame if he was wrongly accused as not many believe him now.

He was, but then article after article says that dozens of witnesses said the shooter was a guy whose description wasn't even close to AH.
A stupid aggressive UGA fan kept repeating how we kept a murderer on our team about a month ago, so I decided to find out.
    Here's the Wapo article
    https://www.washingtonpost.com/news...lvement-in-a-2007-double-shooting-in-florida/

In August 2013, after Hernandez’s arrest up north, even though he was never a suspect in our investigation … we took a deep official dive into the case to be sure of that,” Officer Ben Tobias, a spokesman for the Gainesville Police Department, said Wednesday. “That case was closed without suspect ID or arrest. Hernandez was never a suspect.”

Ok you have have been proven DEAD WRONG on this assertion that AH was anyway involved in this shooting.
Please let the board know all about the "other behavior."

Look- I know other idiot members of other fanbases will repeat lies to make us look bad.
I can't stop that because I dont' go on other boards.
But when members of our own community repeat those same lies, then I'm going to call them out on it.

You are correct. Aaron Hernandez was not a convicted murderer at the time of our championships. I was making a point about alleged criminal activity of a player that helped us win a championship and you correctly pointed out that I shouldn’t have thrown in the murder conviction to make my point.

I will counter, however, that I’m not trying to make us look badly. Aaron was not convicted, and neither was Jameis. The other poster made a remark about not wanting to win with a guy like Jameis. I answered with asking if he felt the same about winning with Aaron. They were both alleged to have committed crimes, but not convicted, and therefore the comparison is solid. Let’s not change the focus of the comparison because of a technical error I made by referencing his later conviction.
