no matter who the next coach is. Unless this new coach is the second coming of John Wooden, the team that MW has assembled isn't very good. Furthermore, we may not get the 4 star recruits who planned on coming. I hope whoever our next coach is will not be turned off by what he sees on the roster. It's going to take a few years to rebuild this roster but I'm glad for the needed change.
Normally I’d look at our roster (and who is likely to be moving on) and think we’d be lucky to get 10 total wins next year. Since it’s not likely to add an impact player through recruiting at this late stage. But the way the transfer market works now means something could still be patched together, but we’ll need 4 or 5 transfers and at least a few existing guys (and recruits) to stick around. Hell this years team was constructed mostly of 1 or 2 year transfers. Hopefully we bring a coach that really knows how to recruit.
It is 100% dependent on the coach. If you land a big name I'm willing to bet the freshman stay, as well as a lot of the good pieces we have left -- and we can probably land a solid transfer or two.
considering only 6 scholarship guys remain on the roster from this years's team, anything can happen. If we get a current head coach, we could end up with his old team
Felder, Jitoboh, Lane and Reeves are decent players. Kennedy showed some potential. If new coach can keep the 3 commits and pull in 2-3 from the portal we could compete next year. Definitely need a big and a PG.
