The next hurricane is looking like a direct hit on Clearwater, Tampa, St. Petersburg, and Sarasota. Any hurricane making a direct hit coming from west to east as this one will be is going to cause catastrophic damage with another possibility of loss of life.

Bottom line, FEMA doesn't have the money for what is about to happen in the Tampa Bay area. As the above USA Today article points out, FEMA has blown through $700 million of the FEMA's $1 billion two-year budget. Some reports place the amount closer to $800 million.
