Not Confirmed: I am hearing that Mack Brown has resigned

When Coach Spurrier was at UCSe I posted on their message boards and the sentiment was overwhelming they wanted him fired. I tried to tell them (and was ungraciously invited to leave, which I did) they would probably never again even whiff an 11 win season and I guaranteed no more 3 in-a-row 11 win seasons . . . if Coach Spurrier left. I won't listen to them revise history now. They got exactly what they wanted.

So far our opponents get points in the RZ 80%, I believe, and have scored more TDs than FGs. We get points 86% in RZ but kick significantly more FGs than TDs. We and our opponents each have had 15 RZ opps. That does not tell us how many TDs we gave up or made outside the RZ but indicates too often they get 7, we get 3.

 

Yeah, I know. It’s like this one university I heard of that has a coach who won two national championships and half the fan base hates him. Go figure!

 

So how did you get your idiot to retire? Can you give us any pointers?

 

I wouldn't be surprised. I hear they both still owe General Washington a quarter.
